Our consultancy service often starts with a high quality scoping survey and report, data collection, analysis & interpretation reporting and impact assessments. We cover all major plant and animal groups, as well as providing advice on project design, constraint identification, mitigation and impact avoidance.
IMT Ecological Consultancy can undertake a range of protected species surveys including badger, water vole surveys, bat and barn owl surveys, bird surveys, Phase 1 habitat surveys and Fresh Water Pearl Mussel surveys.

This expertise enables us to work on small projects with single protected species to larger more complex developments that may have a wide range of ecological issues, all of which we can provide a professional service to meet the needs of the individual client. We work closely with out clients in regard to project design, mitigation for protected species and their habitats leading to fully comprehensive and supported reports. We also provide ecological impact assessment (EcIA), ecological clerks of works, protected species & habitat management plans and post construction management. We have expert knowledge of SNH & SEPA guidance, UK Law, as well as the UK planning system and translate this in our assessment and management of projects to facilitate planning consent for developers.
